Mr. Cleveland, I have a two-part question, if I may.
In light of what you have stated, say a circumstance was to
come about in the United States, where a State asked its people to
determine whether or not people should be able to use marijuana
for health purposes. And the people voted for its use.
The first part is; What would be your opinion of public officers
who in this case, rather then embracing the will of the people,
they threatened reprisals against anyone who would?
The second part is; Lets say this episode was to have taken place.
The public officers disavowed the will of the people. And the press,
and people as a whole, did not express outrage.
What in your assessment, would be the state of the Union?

We have found you in this state of being,
And we are trying to correct it.
We would have you not to be ignorant.
But some are depending on it.
They have made you sick.

"FREEDOM FROM IGNORANCE"
Well judge, its like this you see;
Working with the knowledge that evolution is the most intelligent
explanation as to how man truly has come to the state that we now
find ourselves in, this leaves any member of a jury without this
understanding, not expected to make good decisions. And that would
be like allowing the accused to wear a santa suit, while the members
of the jury could not be more then five years of age. Or, like the
accused had to wear a devil costume, and again the members of the
jury could not be more then five years of age.
So you see judge, with evolution being true, but many ignorant people
being told that it is not, and that they should think that anything
associated with it is bad, it is hard to get a fair trial in this
society, at this time.
By evolution being understood, old religious views, and those who have
invested heavily in them, are shown to be wrong. And those who grasp the
knowledge that comes from an understanding of evolution, are made out to
be enemies of God, you know, like religion did with Jesus, Galileo, and
many others. By keeping the truth from its' people, religion keeps people
from being set free from ignorance.
"RING OF RELIGION"
Religion collects ignorant people into something like a herd, and then
threatens individuals with a stampede. And because religion can also
stampede people to the voting both, we have career politicians kissing the
the ring of religion. They are the walking dead, which have given up in the
race for knowledge, and now grasp at what safety there is in numbers. Their
faith in the promise of education has died. The time and effort once spent
to maintain a state of learning, is always welcome by the religious group,
then used to trample the truth.
For sure judge, those in the future will clearly see that you have been
bought and paid for by religion. Freedom undermines religions' control, and
religion introduces concepts such as the prohibition of alcohol or drugs to
make free men criminals, which gets many of them out of the way. Because
you will overlook a persons rights granted by the constitution, religion
smiles on you today. But when the United states wakes up, and cleans house,
you will be judged by free men.

One of the prerequisites of being a successful newsman today, is to show a
lack of skepticism. Students of print media have learned that they can sit
by a machine waiting for news to come to them, and still go by the title of
journalist.
An environment has been created where there is little hope of "We the people"
getting to be like the ones we watch. Our leaders cannot walk and talk with
the people. And we cannot afford to really educate our children. For it would
reveal the injustice more clearly.
Life in the U.S. is becoming more and more, just a gamble. Where a few seem to
win, but all who play lose.
It was not meant to be this way. There where safeguards set up to guide this
nation toward its citizens being offered a different lifestyle, a way of being
equals.
The rules laid down at the start, we call them the constitution, imply that
those in positions of authority are elected to those posts periodically. Yet,
how many governing bodies in this land practice this concept in their
functioning. Did the writers of the constitution think that this way of
governing was only for use by some organizations? Or, did they imply that it
must be used whenever people come together and do things as a group?
In this land, we get to elect our congressman, but not our boss at work.
We get to elect our school board members, but not our church leaders.
What would be different if we all were to play by the rule of election?
Do not the words of the constitution convey that we should?
It is in clear violation of the constitution that we the people, embrace
or allow, a governmental process other then an electoral form. The groups
in this country that chose not to use an electoral form of governing need
to be viewed as unconstitutional in nature, in order for the people of this
land to live as equals. Only then will others be able to see that there is
a better way, for all.
Another example, which most people choose not to see, as it causes most of
us to suffer the loss of equality, is the concept of "No lords" not being
followed in this country.
In order to insure domestic tranquility;
Section. 9. No title of nobility shall be granted by the United States:
Section. 10. No State shall . . . grant any title of nobility.
But now there are some among us who have added little titles to their names.
And by some means other then constitutionally, they have the power to suspend
the law of the land. Today, in this land, some are "knighted" by others, and
this self appointed group of lords, (they like to use the title of doctor),
get to say when a person is charged with violating the law.
Many are in prison today, but would not be, if like others, they had paid
homage to these doctors. Somehow, only these doctors are viewed as having the
rights each of us were meant to receive as adults. We did not elect them to
have such power over us. In this land we are to think of others as equals.
These doctors have chosen not to.
In this country, you are found to have a better education than the others
around you, only when you have decided not to share.
These doctors get to keep their subjects out of the court system, while those
who don't go along with the scam go to prison.
Could this have taken place without effecting our right to free speech? No way!

A DECISION, I MADE, ALSO.
If the drug laws seem valid, to you? If you act as if they are real? Then
you would be found to be in violation of the "First Amendment". But only by
those that have an understanding of the meaning behind "The Law".
THE FIRST AMENDMENT: Congress shall make no law respecting an
establishment of religion, or prohibiting the free exercise thereof; or
abridging the freedom of speech, or of the press; or the right of the people
peaceably to assemble, and to petition the government for a redress of
grievances.
Now they did a good job. But there is room for improvement. They captured the
spirit of the law, but if the word "Congress" was replaced by the word
"Governments", better yet, "We The People", would its meaning become clearer?
And if the word "Religion", was replaced by the word "Belief"?
The word "Congress" was meant to be symbolic for "We The People", But has
since gone astray of its intent. And the word "Religion" once meant ones
personal belief. Today the word "Religion" has come to mean
"A Gang With No Room For Personal Belief".
Is not the intent: We the people, shall make no law respecting an establishment
of belief, or prohibiting the free exercise of that belief;...
It is by each person not being a part to any laws that would deny anyone the
free exercise of their beliefs, that we obtain , and sustain, freedom among us.
The bottom line is; The First Amendment is saying, to convert others to your
belief, you must use education, not laws.

Justice Robert Jackson-- "The very purpose of the Bill of Rights was to
withdraw certain subjects from the vicissitudes of political controversy,
to place them beyond the reach of majorities and officials and to establish
them as legal principles to be applied by the courts. One's right to life,
liberty, and property, to free speech, a free press, freedom of worship and
assembly, and other fundamental rights may not be submitted to vote; they
depend on the outcome of no elections."
"If there is any fixed star in our constitutional constellation, it is that
no official, high or petty, can prescribe what shall be orthodox in politics,
nationalism, religion, or other maters of opinion or force citizens to confess
by word or act their faith therein."
"Those who begin coercive elimination of dissent, soon find themselves
exterminating dissenters. Compulsory unification of opinion achieves only
the unanimity of the graveyard."
"Forcing unity is contrary to the meaning of the Constitution."

"And to establish them as legal principles to be applied by the courts", this
need only happen when a person fails in his responsibility. And history shows,
to those that study, that the courts can also fail to uphold them as legal
principles, at times. While The First Amendment will always offer freedom to
those that seek its meaning, and follow its stored educational guidance.

Justice Hugo Black --"Under our constitutional system, courts stand against
any winds that blow, as havens of refuge for those who might otherwise suffer
because they are helpless, week, outnumbered, or because they are
non-conforming victims of prejudice and public excitement."

"Courts stand against any winds that blow". Again one can see that these
judges spent to much time in the court room. In real life, The Legal
Principles are the only things that one can surly count on. They are the
refuge for those who are the non-conforming victims of PUBLIC EXCITEMENT.
For it is the knowing of the meaning, which gives assurance to one's soul,
that it is right with the truth. Whereas history shows that the courts are
subject to the effects of prejudice and public excitement. When the courts
fail, nothing stands between us and WAR. Groups that thrive by way of a
system of conformity, and would not have survived in a system based on
education, see value in a person that knows not the meaning of The First
Amendment. We call this politics. Public Excitement is the tool of the
politician, used to mislead the masses, for a while. Whereas education is
the tool of the teacher, used for learning, by the individual, forever.
The politician points to idols. While the teacher points to the truth.

as important to the life of government as is the heart of the human body.
In fact, this privilege is the heart of our government! If that heart be
weakened, the result is debilitation; if it be stilled, the result is death."

Idols are placed, between you and the truth. In the hope that you won't go
out of your way, and see the truth. The drug laws are just new Idols. It is
said that if you serve them, they will make your life better. If you attempt
to serve them, you become part of a group that has decided not to wait for
the fruits of education.
It has become like unto the time of Moses. Many that started along the path,
with the Constitution guiding them like the cloud, have made the choice to
turn back. They have stilled the heart of our government. They have asked
for war, rather then join us in freedom. To live like animals takes less
effort then the life of a human being. Less responsibility. Whereas humans
must study our history; animals are barely aware of their own. They know not
what they do.
We are at war, not over drugs, but over the meaning of The First Amendment.
To give up on education, is to give up waiting for what God has to offer.
The stage has been set up by ignorance. They have lost the meaning behind,
the words that Moses shared.
Must history be repeated, for the many who choose not to study on their own?
In the drug war, which side can the press be seen to have taken? Which side
is the real God on?
